As a rule, your baggage will be automatically transferred to your onward flight. Exceptions are indicated here.
Usually, transfer passengers do not need to check in again. However, if you do have baggage or liquids that need to be checked in, you will have to leave the transfer area and enter Switzerland in order to do so. There are no check-in facilities in the transfer area.
Follow the Exit Zurich/Baggage Claim signs, observing the entry and customs regulations and then proceed to the check-in desks for your airline.
Trolleys are available free of charge in the transfer area so that you can conveniently transport your baggage.
For security reasons, there are no luggage lockers in this zone.
