Your baggage has to be screened before it can be loaded onto the aircraft. This procedure is carried out after check-in via a baggage sorting system. In some cases it is necessary for baggage to be opened in order to check it, and this is carried out by a specialist in the presence of the passenger concerned.
When you enter the passenger area your boarding pass has to be checked - please have it ready for inspection before you proceed.
You and your hand luggage have to be checked to ensure you are not carrying any prohibited items (see regulations prohibiting the carriage of liquids in hand luggage).
