The Federal Office of Civil Aviation prolonged the air space closure above Switzerland until prospectively Tuesday, 08:00 CEST. As a result, air traffic to and from Zurich Airport remains suspended.
Passengers who have to spend the night at Zurich Airport will be provided with sleeping bags, blankets, toiletries, food and beverages.
The air space above Switzerland is scheduled to re-open on Tuesday, 08:00 CEST. Until then, passengers with flights during that time are advised not to come to the airport and contact their respective airline for further information on their flights. Further information is released as soon as details are available.
Landside shops and restaurants are open for business. The viewing terrace on Dock E has been closed for visitors.
