It will prospectively take days until the regular flight plan is restored. Yesterday, 214 flight movements took place. 471 flights had to be cancelled. Due to the extraordinary situation in European air traffic, four landings occurred outside regular flight times (00:60 CEST to 00:30 CEST), namely an Air Berlin flight from Palma De Mallorca at 00:47 CEST, an Edelweiss Air flight from Heraklion at 01:02 CEST and the two Swiss flights from Bangkok at 05:41 CEST and from Tessaloniki at 05:52 CEST. No starts took place.
The expedient and efficient normalization of flight operations still holds the highest priority. Therefore, passengers are advised to only come to the airport if they already have a confirmed flight ticket. All other passengers are advised to not come to the airport yet and contact their airline or travel agent for further information.
