Flughafen Zürich AG not asking for government support
It was wrongly stated in some media that the airport operator in Zurich, Flughafen Zürich AG, is demanding financial from the government support. CEO Thomas Kern states: “We do not ask for public money. We are willing and able to bear our entrepreneurial risk on our own. However, it is our duty towards our shareholders and employees to consider all possibilities in order to minimize financial damage. In addition, we expect equal treatment, should any public money be paid in the aviation industry.”
