Safety and security training
Flughafen Zürich AG offers a range of safety and security training modules for airport employees and suppliers. You can complete them online on the e-learning platform. Below is an overview of all available courses.
Safety and security training: Completion required before first access to the non-public area from 1st of October 2016
During an audit in July 2015, the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) objected to the fact that employees could enter the non-public area of the airport for up to three months without having completed the compulsory safety and security training. Starting on October 1, 2016, the FOCA requires staff to successfully complete the online training before gaining access to the non-public area.
From this date, the airport companies are required to ensure that their employees complete the course modules before their first day of work resp. before accessing the non-public area.
The necessary course modules must be completed until September 30 to ensure access on the 1st of October.
The application process for airport identification cards remains unchanged. The airport IDs can still be obtained from the Airport ID Office (Ausweisbüro) without completion of the courses. However, the badge will only be activated after successful completion of the course modules.
Further information can be obtained from the information leaflet below and in the e-learning instructions under „documents“ (right column).
