Services for passengers with reduced mobility
Zurich Airport offers support for passengers whose mobility is reduced due to disability or age.
This service is currently provided by Careport AG on behalf of Flughafen Zürich AG and is available free of charge to all passengers with reduced mobility. A member of the Careport team will accompany you from your arrival at the airport to your aircraft or vice-versa. Here you will also find information on the transportation of wheelchairs and the correct handling of guide dogs.

Please request the necessary assistance when booking your flight. Please state the type of care you require so that the appropriate preparations can be made.
Arrival and departure
Various parking options are available to passengers with reduced mobility. Assistance is also available for passengers arriving on public transport.
Departing & arriving
Upon arrival at Zurich Airport, you can go straight to a pick-up point for passengers with reduced mobility in the check-in halls and speak to a member of staff in person or over the phone. If possible, go straight to the check-in desk for your airline.
Assistance Services, Careport
Services for passengers with reduced mobility at Zurich Airport. In order to make use of the assistance, please announce your demand when booking your flight, latest 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure time, to your travel agency or to your airline.
Zurich Airport offers assistance to disabled passengers and passengers with reduced mobility on their way at the airport.
The service is provided by our service provider careport AG and is available free of charge to all passengers with reduced mobility.
careport will guide and help you from the venue at the airport up to the aircraft door or/and from the aircraft door to the baggage area and also help you go thru all necessary checks.
careport also takes care of your special needs, such as the transport of your wheelchair or the appropriate handling of your assistance.

Registrations should be received 72 hours in advance. For registrations outside the deadline, or last-minute requests at the counter, customers should expect a short wait.
