Ordinance on Airport Charges: Swiss Federal Council adopts Ordinance
14.06.2019 - The Swiss Federal Council has communicated the final decision of the partial revision of the Ordinance on Airport Charges (OAC) today. The economic parameters will, contrary to the initial proposal presented by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA), not be adjusted. Flughafen Zürich AG welcomes that the transfer payment will not be raised.
Flughafen Zürich AG wins Concessions for the Operation of Two Airports in Brazil
15.03.2019 - Flughafen Zürich AG was awarded the operation of the airports of Vitória und Macaé in the southeast of Brazil by way of a public tender. The airports handled a total of approximately 3.2 million passengers in 2018.
12.03.2019 - Flughafen Zürich AG has posted a robust result for 2018. In the reporting period, Flughafen Zürich AG’s revenue increased by CHF 11.2% to CHF 1.15 billion. The airport operator’s profit of CHF 237.8 million shows a decrease on the previous year. Whereas the prior-year figure was positively impacted in particular by the sale of the interest in Bangalore, additional provisions for sound insulation measures had a negative effect in the financial year 2018. After adjusting for one-off effects, profit rose by 13.3%.
