Unique News Flash No. 6 / Stefan Conrad appointed new Chief Operation Officer at Zurich Airport

As per June 1, 2010 Stefan Conrad will take over the Operations division at Zurich Airport. He succeeds Rainer Hiltebrand, who will be leaving Flughafen Zürich AG after eight years of service on the executive board at the end of March 2010.

The 56 years old Stefan Conrad is captain and instructor at Swiss International Air Lines Ltd. From 2001 to 2004 he was Vice President of Operations and member of the executive board with Swiss Aviation Training. Before that he served as Head of Training with Swissair and operated as captain and instructor for MD80 and later for the airbus fleet A320/A330/A340. He is a trained military pilot and holds a Global Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen and the University of Toronto.

The executive board is looking forward to welcoming with Stefan Conrad an experienced pilot with strong aeronautical and management know-how on board.
