Competition: United Tickets to D.C. to be won

There’s so much to discover: direct flights from Zurich to New York/Newark and Washington D.C. with connections to over 300 destinations in North and South America.

United made its first flight from Zurich to New York / Newark in 1999; next year, it will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of this route. In 2004, United added a second non-stop connection to its network of flights, from Zurich to Washington D.C., with onward flights to over 300 destinations in North and South America.

The Boeing 767-300/400s fly between Zurich and the USA and offer two different seating configurations. United Global First (SM), United BusinessFirst ® and United Economy ® or United BusinessFirst ® and United Economy ®.

Passengers in First Class have direct access to the aisle and full flat-bed seats, which recline to create a 2-metre bed. They enjoy on-demand entertainment and superb food and drink, lovingly prepared by United’s chefs.

Business Class benefit from United BusinessFirst® on all international long-haul flights. Full flat-bed seats are available on all long-haul aircraft, as well as an on-demand programme of entertainment, connections for laptops and other electronic devices. Superb meals, with several courses, are also served.

United’s Economy Plus offers passengers a mix of service, benefits and bespoke options, along with comfortable seats with up to 15cm more leg room.

The spacious Economy cabin offers a wide range of benefits and services, including free meals and soft drinks on all transatlantic flights, your own video screen with free headphones, various entertainment programmes such as music, television programmes and films and adjustable headrests.
