Spring has sprung at the shops and restaurants

Sample seafood at the Center Bar, or give the new spring models at Vögele Shoes a whirl in the revamped store: this spring, several shops and restaurants are sporting a new look or have introduced new ranges.

Seafood at the Center Bar

According to the “Food and Beverage Award” the Center Bar is already the best bar in the world. But the icon among airport bars is improving all the time. Beginning in April, guests at the Airside Center can find an exclusive range of seafood products. Thanks to a cooperation agreement with Caviar House & Prunier, guests at the Center Bar can enjoy dining while listening to piano music and taking in a breathtaking view.

A last coffee before departure

Nobody need do without a fairtrade espresso with perfectly frothed milk right before departure. This summer, Starbucks is opening another “Third Place” near the 70 Gates. A place between home and the workplace or the next holiday destination.

The name Victorinox is closely connected to the legendary “Original Swiss Army Knife”, which dates back to the Swiss “Officer’s and sports knife” from the year 1897. Today, Victorinox produces and sells a range of high-quality products that are practical too. The company now has 70 shops around the world, and another one will open at Zurich Airport on 19 March 2013. On Level 1 in the Airside Center, visitors can inspect the Victorinox products in a contemporary and innovatively designed space covering 70 square metres.

Burger King: Order even faster

This spring, the Burger King restaurant at the Airside Center will not only have a modern, trendy look after a refurbishment. A fast food restaurant must ensure that orders are processed quickly. Guests are therefore now served at an additional cash register.

Porsche Design: now at the Airside Center

A new Porsche Design shop will open on 22 March 2013 on Level 2 of the Airside Center. Clear lines and pure design, a casual look combined with high-performance function: The luxury brand Porsche Design has stood for a unique iconic style for over 40 years. Porsche Design was founded in 1972 by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, the designer and “father” of the Porsche 911. All of the brand’s products are designed in the Porsche Design Studio and sold around the world.

To celebrate the arrival of the spring collection, the Vögele-Shoes store at the Airport Center will reveal its new layout. The store’s stylish new look is aimed at a younger clientele. Customers can look forward to an ultra-modern shoe range comprising more than 2′000 different models for men and women, all at fair prices.
