ACI EUROPE Airport Trading Conference 2014
Zurich Airport is hosting the ACI EUROPE Airport Trading Conference & Exhibition in 2014. This international industry event, held in the Maag Halle in Zurich, will be attended by over 400 managers from 26-28 March 2014.
Sales in the non-aviation segment are becoming increasingly important for airports, which is why the latter are investing more in briefing customers.
The conference, exhibition and networking programme addresses the question as to how the non-aviation business can improve the overall travel experience and how airports, concessionaires and brands can boost their business opportunities by using technology and at the same time contribute to passengers' well-being.
Participants get to know case studies via particularly successful business concepts and gain valuable insights from other industries.
Thomas Kern, Chief Executive Officer of Zurich Airport: "The annual ACI EUROPE Airport Trading Conference & Exhibition brings together top decision-makers responsible for successful business at Europe's airports. The slogan of this year's conference – 'Travel experience – Operational excellence vs. commercial opportunities' – sums up the challenges facing today's airport business. Airports are attaching ever-more importance to providing their passengers with a first-class experience. The competitive environment demands maximum commercial profitability from this key source of revenue. Zurich Airport is proud to host the 23rd ACI EUROPE Airport Trading Conference & Exhibition."
