Changes in the summer flight timetable
With destinations like Las Vegas, Havana, Bordeaux and Billund to tempt customers, why not explore somewhere new?
The summer flight timetable has lots of exciting changes in store. Swiss International Air Lines will operate flights to the Sicilian capital Palermo and Thessaloniki. Edelweiss Air is offering three new destinations: Las Vegas, Havana and Edinburgh, from May 2014. Helvetic Airways will operate a new route to Bordeaux, making the west coast of France easy to reach with a direct flight from Zurich.
Aegean Airlines is a new airline operating from Zurich Airport, and will offer flights to Athens, Heraklion and Rhodes starting in the summer. Etihad Airways will also operate a daily, non-stop flight from Abu Dhabi to Zurich. The regional airline, formerly known as Darwin Airline, will take over 7 routes as Etihad Regional. The first of which will be Leipzig, starting on 30 March 2014, followed by Geneva, Turin, Florence, Verona, Lyon and Linz in May and June.
