Overview of the 2016 summer flight timetable
SWISS and Edelweiss Air are offering new destinations and the airline Germania presents its 2016 summer route offer.
Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) will be adding a new service to Alicante in the 2016 summer flight timetable. Starting in March 2016, SWISS will offer three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) from Zurich to Alicante, the Spanish port city on the Costa Blanca that lies in the heart of an important tourism region.
There are also new destinations at Edelweiss: the 2016 summer flight timetable includes new services to Calgary and Rio de Janeiro as part of the airline’s international route network. From the end of May 2016, Edelweiss will offer twice-weekly flights (Thursday and Sunday) from Zurich to Calgary, Canada’s fourth largest city. Moreover, the airline will make two weekly non-stop flights (Monday and Friday) from Zurich to Rio de Janeiro.
The airline Germania Flug AG, which was founded in August 2014 and is headquartered in Glattbrugg, Switzerland, will serve ten destinations with a total of 22 weekly flights during the 2016 summer flight timetable period: Kos, Crete and Rhodes (Greece), Larnaca (Cyprus), Varna (Bulgaria), Vilnius (Lithuania), Antalya (Turkey), Hurghada (Egypt) as well as one daily flight to Palma de Mallorca (Spain) and two flights per week to Beirut (Lebanon). These routes can be booked via the website www.germania.ch, by telephone at the Service Center on +41 (0)43 508 34 89, at travel agencies and at select tour operators.
Germania will also continue to provide charter service for Air Prishtina to the Kosovan capital of Pristina as well as to Skopje, Macedonia. In addition, it will serve the route from Zurich to Porto (Portugal) for the travel agency Mittelthurgau Fluss- und Kreuzfahrten AG as well as the route from Zurich to Calvi (Corsica) for Rhomberg Reisen GmbH.
