More Airbus A380 and samba feeling
Beginning on 1 October 2015, Emirates will offer two daily A380 services to Dubai, and Edelweiss Air will fly twice a week to Rio de Janeiro as of next spring.
Emirates has been using an Airbus A380 on one of its two rotations since January 2014. Beginning in the autumn the airline will use the world's largest passenger aircraft for all its flights from Zurich. More information on the Emirates A380.
The Swiss airline is expanding its route network to include another interesting destination: from 25 April 2016 it will fly to the Brazilian metropolis of Rio de Janeiro. This part of the world offers something for all holiday-makers: the legendary carnival nights with the thrilling samba, the Copacabana or landmarks such as Sugarloaf Mountain and the Corcovado with the Christ the Redeemer statue.
