Summer schedule: Observation decks and bus tours
The observation decks at Zurich Airport attract young and old alike. Time flies here during the warm months of the year.
Observation Deck B
Once daylight-savings time begins, the observation deck at Dock B will once again be opened for visitors every day from 08:00 - 20:00. Here you can experience the fascination of flying, up close and personal. The observation deck is the only one of its kind in the world, offering visitors unrivalled insights and views of flight operations at Zurich Airport. Five additional pieces of playground equipment were added recently to the mini-airfield, to the great enthusiasm of the kids who visit.
Starting from Sunday 29 March 2015, public tours of Zurich Airport will take place every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The guided tours last 75 minutes and offer something for young and old alike. They take visitors to the hangars, maintenance area, airport fire brigade and rescue service, before passing by the apron to the runway intersection. Tickets for the tours can be purchased directly from the tour desk at observation deck B from midday onwards.
Observation Deck E
In addition to the extra tours, the move to daylight-saving time means the observation deck at Dock E is now once again open on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Observation deck E can be reached by shuttle bus from observation deck B. The shuttle bus is free of charge, but those wishing to visit observation deck E must pay admission for observation deck B.
