Carl F. Bucherer exhibition at the Airside Center
The traditional Lucerne-based brand of Carl F. Bucherer is providing an up-close insight into the fascination of the watchmaker's craft and enabling visitors to play at being a watchmaker.
A number of collection pieces will be on display at the Airside Center exhibition until 21 June 2015. One highlight of the exhibition is a look at the mechanical refinements of a very special watch model: Manero Tourbillon. The complex construction of the integrated tourbillon compensates for any errors in accuracy caused by gravity – the crowning achievement of the art of watchmaking.
Become a watchmaker
Visitors to the exhibition can even slip into the role of a watchmaker: in front of a backdrop of Lucerne, the headquarters of Carl F. Bucherer, visitors can take their place at a watchmaker's table and take home a photo as a souvenir.
Carl F. Bucherer can look back on a tradition of outstanding craftsmanship that goes back 125 years. To continue this success story, the Lucerne-based traditional brand used its many years of expertise in both watchmaking and jewellery to develop strong collections and its own pieces – in line with its philosophy: "Bound to tradition. Driven by innovation."
