James Bond and OMEGA – a success story
OMEGA is celebrating its 20-year partnership with James Bond until 8 November 2015 at Zurich Airport.
For 20 years, the best-known secret agent James Bond has worn an OMEGA wristwatch – and will do so again in the latest James Bond film "Spectre", to be released in Swiss cinemas on 5 November 2015. OMEGA is exhibiting all the watches worn in James Bond films since 1995 at the Airside Center, including the one seen in the latest film. Pieces from the current collection are also on display.
The attractive timepieces can be purchased directly at the sales area on Level 1 of the Airside Center or in the adjacent OMEGA boutique. The sales area shop is open every day from 8 a.m. 7:15 p.m.
The OMEGA brand has been driven by its pioneering spirit for 167 years: six moon landings, the first diver's watch, and the only wristwatch in the world with marine chronometer certification. No other watch brand has more records for precision.
What's more, with 26 Olympic appearances as official timekeeper, OMEGA is the world leader in sports timekeeping. OMEGA is very proud of this legacy, but the brand's main focus has always been on its watchmaking innovation, which was taken to new heights with the launch of the exclusive OMEGA co-axial calibre – the first practical new escapement for around 250 years. These achievements are the result of the drive and dynamism that have made OMEGA one of the world's leading watchmakers since 1848.
