Fascination of airports: Swiss Museum of Transport
Come and see the renewed airport exhibition at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne courtesy of Zurich Airport and Geneva and Basel-Mulhouse airports.
The renewed exhibition, which opened in mid-December 2015, is divided into playful, animated and informative elements. Interactive dexterity and searching games such as the baggage sorting game offer younger generations insights into the work of an airport. An animated light projection depicts busy morning operations at Zurich Airport. If you look through the aircraft window installed especially for this purpose, you will make exciting discoveries about the six most important airports in Switzerland. The visitor’s path through the exhibition starts at a check-in counter just like a "real" passenger.
The new exhibition was designed and implemented by Flughafen Zürich AG with the support of the Geneva and Basel-Mulhouse airports. Aroma in Zurich and iArt in Basel served as external partners. The result is an exhibition that enhances the visitor’s understanding of the world of the airport in a playful manner.
The exhibition can be toured in the Aviation Hall of the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne.
