Reopening of the curbside lanes

The renovated, upgraded curbside lanes will reopen step by step in June 2016. Attractive short-stay parking for meeters & greeters will be available on the lower level.

The entire upper curbside level at the check-in area will reopen on 1 June 2016. From this date, authorised users of the inner lane (including taxis and limousines) and people dropping off passengers can use the refurbished curbside at the departure level with its new, large roof. At the same time, the outer public lane on the lower curbside level will be closed to private use to enable the completion of final work. When these tasks are finished around mid-June 2016, the P4 short-stay zone will reopen with changed terms of use. Both people who are collecting incoming passengers and airport visitors will then have a high-quality short-stay parking option (P4) on the lower curbside level as an alternative to car parks P1 - 3. Those collecting passengers are asked to continue using car parks P1 - 3 until then.

When the renovated curbside lanes are reopened, new terms of use and prices will be introduced, with the exception of the drop off area. The definitive opening dates and new prices will be published by the end of May 2016 at the latest on the Zurich Airport website.
