New summer flight timetable from 26 March 2017
The summer timetable will take effect from Sunday, 26 March 2017 with the switch to summer time. It will remain in force until Saturday, 28 October 2017. In addition, there will be some changes to visitor services.
SWISS is stepping up its flight movements from Zurich and will offer services to Bergen, Cork, Westerland, Figari and Nis. There will be two weekly flights to these destinations. Edelweiss Air will offer two weekly flights to the long-haul destinations of Cancun, San Jose and San Diego.
Star Alliance member Air China will return to Zurich Airport from 7 June 2017. The airline will offer four flights per week on the Zurich-Beijing route. Germania Flug AG is expanding its route network this summer with two flights per week to Jerez de la Frontera, Marsa Alam, Rostock, Nis and Ankara.
easyJet and the Spanish airline Vueling are also expanding their services. easyJet will fly four times a week to the Mediterranean cities Naples, Nice and Venice. Vueling has added Prague and Palma de Mallorca to its network. There will be three flights a week to both cities.
Observation deck open longer hours
Observation deck B will be open again daily from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. from 26 March through 28 October. As previously, observation deck E will be accessible on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and on public holidays by free shuttle bus from observation deck B during the summer period. Public tours will also be offered on these days beginning on 26 March 2017. Outside this time and as of the beginning of May, Deck E will now be accessible to passengers travelling via Dock E.
