2018 General Meeting of Shareholders of Flughafen Zürich AG
At today’s General Meeting of Shareholders of Flughafen Zürich AG, all the points on the agenda were approved in line with the proposals of the Board of Directors. The 2017 financial statements include a profit of CHF 285.5 million. The General Meeting of Shareholders agreed a dividend of CHF 3.30 per share, and an additional dividend of CHF 3.20 per share was also approved.
The 2018 General Meeting of Shareholders of Flughafen Zürich AG focused on the 2017 financial statements and developments in the current year. As in the previous year, the annual results were influenced by various one-off effects, without which profit amounted to CHF 250.3 million. The General Meeting of Shareholders approved the proposed ordinary dividend of CHF 3.30 per share and an additional dividend of CHF 3.20 per share, to be paid out of capital contribution reserves.
Board of Directors
Serving members of the Board of Directors standing for re-election Corine Mauch, Guglielmo Brentel, Josef Felder, Stephan Gemkow and Andreas Schmid (Chairman) were voted in for a further term of one year.
The representatives of the Canton mandated to sit on the Board of Directors are the Head of Zurich's Department of Economic Affairs Carmen Walker Späh, who is responsible for the airport portfolio, Eveline Saupper, PhD in law, and Vincent Albers. The representatives of the Canton of Zurich on the Board of Directors of Flughafen Zürich AG are not elected by the General Meeting of Shareholders but delegated by the Government Council of the Canton of Zurich.
