You can obtain all the information you need for your flight via text message, online, by phone and at the information desks.

Flight information

You can obtain all the key information you need for your flight from Zurich in a variety of ways – from home, en route or directly at the airport.

Text message

Send a text message with the keyword ZRH followed by your flight number to 9292. You can receive up-to-date information about any flight for that particular day. You will receive approx. 4 text messages per request. Each text message you receive costs CHF 0.90.
Example: send ZRH LX327 to 9292

Please note that the text message service cannot be guaranteed. Flughafen Zürich AG does not assume any liability for costs and/or damages resulting from the inaccurate or missing transmission of flight data.


Zurich Airport app

This app offers extensive information for travellers, those meeting travellers, and shoppers. Push messages keep you automatically informed of the status of your flight.

Air passenger rights

If your flight has been overbooked, cancelled or seriously delayed, airlines are required by law to inform you about your rights and explain how and where you can lodge a complaint.

Ask at the handling desk or directly at the gate for written information about your rights, especially regarding compensation and assistance.

Information by phone

The European Commission, Directorate General for Energy and Transport in Brussels will provide you with information over the phone.

They can be reached Monday - Friday, 09:30 a.m. - 06:30 p.m. (CET) from all EU countries on the following numbers:
